Job Summary

The Electrical Assembly Worker performs routine tasks involved in assembling and installing electrical boards and related components in a manufacturing or assembly environment. The worker assists with assembling electrical panels, installing components, and preparing finished products for inspection and shipment under the supervision of a production supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in assembling electrical boards, panels, or control units according to production instructions.

  • Mount electrical components such as switches, connectors, terminals, and wiring onto boards or panels.

  • Install and secure electrical boards or panels into equipment frames or enclosures.

  • Connect wires and basic electrical components following assembly diagrams or instructions.

  • Use hand tools and basic power tools to perform assembly and installation tasks.

  • Inspect assembled boards and components for visible defects or loose connections.

  • Organize and prepare electrical components and materials for assembly processes.

  • Package completed electrical boards or assemblies for storage or shipment.

  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and assembly equipment.

  • Follow workplace safety procedures and basic electrical safety guidelines.

  • Report equipment issues or production problems to supervisors.

  • Perform other related assembly tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: No formal education required.

  • Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.

  • Skills: Ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive assembly tasks.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during production shifts.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements when assembling components.

Work Conditions

  • Work performed in a manufacturing or electrical assembly facility.

  • Exposure to tools, assembly equipment, and electrical components.

Schedule

  • Full-time position (35–40 hours per week).

  • Overtime may be required depending on production schedules.

Supervision

  • The Electrical Assembly Worker performs duties under the supervision of the Production Supervisor or Assembly Line Manager.
