Job Summary

The Chicken Food Production Worker performs routine manual tasks involved in the preparation, processing, and packaging of chicken food products in a poultry processing facility. The worker assists in production line operations, ingredient preparation, and packaging while maintaining sanitation and workplace safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing raw chicken materials for food production processes.

• Sort, trim, cut, or portion chicken products according to production requirements.

• Load raw materials or ingredients onto production lines or processing equipment.

• Operate basic food processing or packaging equipment under supervision.

• Inspect chicken products for quality and remove defective items.

• Package chicken food products into containers, trays, or bags for distribution.

• Label and stack packaged products on pallets for storage or shipment.

• Maintain cleanliness of production areas, equipment, and tools.

• Follow food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety guidelines.

• Dispose of waste materials according to company procedures.

• Perform other related production tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: No formal education required.

• Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.

• Skills: Ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive production tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during production shifts.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to perform repetitive movements such as lifting, bending, and stacking.

Work Conditions

• Work performed in a poultry processing or food production facility.

• Exposure to refrigerated environments, food processing equipment, and production line operations.

Schedule

• Full-time position (35–40 hours per week).

• Overtime, early morning, evening, weekend, or holiday shifts may be required depending on production schedules.

Supervision

• The Chicken Food Production Worker performs duties under the supervision of the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager.
